I was always passionate about exhibition design. Being able to work interdisciplinary and move into the real space, influencing visitors behaviour in a direct way is quite unique.
The Effect exhibition took visitors on a journey through the interconnected systems, that shape our world. By bringing together 12 international artists, working at the crossroads of art, science, and design, it explored how our choices today impact our future on a micro and macro level. Created during the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition was placed in the windows of a decommissioned hotel, allowing it to be safely experienced by the public, passing by.
I led the branding and graphic design for the exhibition, developing a visual system that worked seamlessly across different mediums. I also managed the production of the exhibition —coordinating with artists, team members and stakeholders. Taking part in every stage made this exhibition one of my toughest, but also most rewarding projects. Not only was the interaction with the artists beyond inspiring but together we were able to create a shared moment in the community in a time where social distancing was the norm.
